Andrea + Jesus’s Wedding in San Luis Potosí
July 12 2025
Recently, I had the absolute honor of photographing a wedding in a hidden little spot outside San Luis Potosí, Mexico. This wasn’t the typical wedding venue. As a destination wedding photographer, I’ve worked across many breathtaking locations, but this one was special. This wasn’t just about capturing a ceremony, it was about preserving the essence of a love story rooted in nature, simplicity, and profound emotion.
Among the most powerful moments was a unique and symbolic ritual during the ceremony: the lighting of a fire by the bride and groom. Standing together, hands intertwined, they sparked a flame that represented their love a shared warmth, passion, and the fire they’ll carry together through life.
Family and friends share this moment with them and everyone was so in to the ceremony, in many ways.
I walked away from this shoot feeling more than lucky. I felt blessed. Honored to witness such genuine love. Humbled to be welcomed into such an intimate, soulful celebration. And inspired to keep doing what I love: telling stories that matter.
To Andrea&Jesus thank you for your trust.
And to that little place lost in time near San Luis Potosí: thank you for your silence, your wisdom, your love and your light
I carry this day in my heart.
